Generalist recruiters screen on keywords. A specialist can tell research experience from production ML, or AppSec from SecOps.

Why a specialist
A role that stays open for weeks usually isn't short of applicants. It's short of the right ones.

02

How it works
Nothing happens until you say yes.

One that only works on that kind of role and has room for a new search. Not a list, not a bidding round.
Talk to them or don't. If you hire through them, you pay their usual fee. Nothing goes to Operis from you.

We'll suggest one firm that only works on roles like it. You decide whether to meet them.
From public information: your job posts, careers page and company news. We look for roles that tend to be hard to fill, like machine learning, security, data, platform and embedded.
No. We introduce one firm, and only if you say yes.
Their own fee, usually a percentage of first-year salary. You agree it with them directly before they start, and many founders talk to them first and decide after.
Tell us. We won't send another one unless you ask.
Recruiting firms pay Operis when we introduce them to a company that wants to talk. You never pay us.
Reply "stop" to any of them and we won't write again.
